About me
My name is Luca Pedri, born in Curitiba, Brazil, to an Italian family, in 2001. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by the power of images and the way art can shape culture. In 2020, while living in New York City, I had my first real confrontation with the mainstream art world. Immaculate galleries pushing empty narratives and ideological agendas. That’s when I realized how much art had lost its soul.
I decided to return to Europe in search of deeper cultural roots. I was accepted into the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree and am currently pursuing my Master’s.
My mission is simple and profound: to restore beauty, to bring soul back into art, and to create work that actually moves people. I am a Christian who follows the teachings of Jesus, and this stands at the core of my paintings — the duality of light and darkness, fall and redemption.
In a world full of chaos and decay, I believe art can still point toward what is good, eternal, and true.
